Common questions

A little clarity before you start.

Understand the course, employer seats and the permit process.

Is enrollment open?

The course is in development. Enrollment and live checkout are closed. No application submission or state approval is represented.

Who needs MAST?

Covered alcohol servers and supervisors at on-premises licensed facilities and other specified assignments need the applicable permit. Your actual duties and the license matter.

Which class applies at my age?

Class 13 is available from age 18; Class 12 requires age 21. Duties and location restrictions still apply.

Does paying for training give me a permit?

No. A payment receipt, learning check score or private completion notice is not a MAST permit.

How long is the course?

The proposed core design is 220 minutes, with a legal minimum of 180 minutes of instruction excluding the exam. Actual duration is not pilot-verified. Breaks, games and assessment time do not add regulatory core credit in this design.

Are games required?

No. The three games are optional practice, with no required passing score. Verified active game engagement is shown separately from core time for enrolled learners. Public previews award no credit.

What happens at the official exam?

The Board supplies the standardized exam. It has not been supplied to this build. The official exam will follow the authorized closed-book and identity procedure, ordinarily with an 80 percent passing requirement unless the Board specifies otherwise.

When is a permit issued?

Only after all learner and provider authorization gates are verified, using the official format and controlled serial inventory. The applicable 30-calendar-day reporting and issuance deadlines remain distinct.

Can my employer buy seats?

The dashboard supports team seats and invitations in local synthetic testing. At launch, every seat in an order of two or more will cost $9.95.

How can I request help, a cancellation or an upgrade?

Use the authenticated support form in this local preview. Public support contacts, service hours, cancellation and upgrade procedures require owner confirmation before launch.

Where can I raise a program complaint?

The official Washington Liquor and Cannabis Board MAST program provides a complaint route. The enrollment materials and evaluation include the Board contact; confirm its current details before launch.
