Age 18 and over
Class 13 covers authorized order-taking and delivery for on-premises consumption, with age, task, location and supervision restrictions. Completing comprehensive training does not authorize an under-21 employee to perform bartender duties.
Covered workers ordinarily obtain a permit within 60 days of initial employment. Certain activities require a permit before starting. Consult the requirements for the license and duties at your workplace.
Permits normally expire on the first day of the month after the examination month, five years later. A qualifying Class 13 upgrade at age 21 retains the original expiry.
